FIRST FOR WOMEN/TELESURE

On the 08th Of August 2018 I had an accident with one of First For Women Client. She did not stop at a stop street and I had a right of way. The accident happened at Houghton corner 3rd Road and 4th Street. The client **** about her insurance at first so when I phoned MI-Way the said actually the client had an accident the previous work prior to this accident and then cancelled the insurance. She was doing the dive and dark situation until I traced her insurance through a reliable source and put in a claim, when I called through they knew that their client had an accident however had no details no even a case number. I related what happened, supp**** all documentation i.e. pictures of where it happened, damage of both cars, drivers licence, copy of ID, Car Registrar, Proof of Residence, Panel Beater Invoice, Parts Dealer Invoice …. you name it??? and also told them they can go where the accident was to view the camera from the two houses that where in the vicinity of the accident as both residents told me if I need footage they can supply. Every week I am calling them to ask about progress of the accident to this day I am still waiting. I have fixed my car already as I use it for work and to run errands. They are telling me the documents is with the assessors for approval and then the other day they tell me they can't get hold of client. The client's insurance includes 3rd party claim so why is it is a problem for them to NOW pay? A second month is closing as well and still no JOY. If I do not get anything from them this week I am handing over the matter to my Attorney as advised them and they told me to wait a bit. THIS IS TOO MUCH OR THEY ARE USELESS AND OVER PROMISE AND UNDER DELIVER.

So now this is what I got today, a Settlement letter:- "hank you for the progress on this case and also the attached document. However I need you to respond to my questions below. * I have spend close to R40 000.00 to fix my car and all you guys can do is have a settlement of R11 804.69. Please kindly send me the assessors calculations on how they derived to this amount. * The settlement amount will be paid in full or in instalments, if in instalments I will not accept but take it further to my Attorneys who will further take over this matter * If question 1 and 2 is not satisfactory, I will have to draft my own terms and conditions * How long will it take for funds to be deposited into my account Awaiting to hear your speedily response."

So the Insurance came back with a settlement of a 3rd of the Funds I used to repair my car. I used close to R40 000.00 and they are only giving me 15% of it. They are reason is that my car is a 2011 model and is out of warranty, I have a valid warranty as I bought the car brand new in 2014 so what are they trying to tell me? I guess it is right that Insurances ******* people.
