First for women (********)

I would like to log a complaint regarding first for women. I insured my household contents with them and on the 27 July 2022 in the early hours on this day. There was a storm and then lightning hit the geyser and it burst and then the roof caved in, leading to my place being flooded and appliances being damaged. Jabulile Ndala was the one assigned to deal with my claim and till this day I haven't received a single cent from them. Have called 3times enquiring about the progress of my claim and have been told that they will get back to me till today. They took the electric appliances : stove, 2laptops, washing machine, fridge and microwave which according to them, they've tested and said they're are working just fine. They've since returned the stove, fridge, microwave and washing machine, mind you the fridge occasionally makes that generator sounding noise, which I've told them about.

The 2laptops and the appliances that were damaged( leather sofa from coricraft with leather guard, TV stand, leather laundry basket and block-out curtains) are still with them.

Was sent an email(27/08/2022) that they've finalized my claim and will be paying out R35 177,18 which i disputed(29/08/2022) cause that money alone will only cover roughly the 2laptops alone.

And I've also made it clear that my cellphone is giving me problems so the best way to communicate is through emails.

I've never been this frustrated by a company's incompetence hence I'm reaching out to you for assistance

Nonsense response cause my claim is still not sorted. Was told by jabulile ndala that the service provider will contact me on the 09/11/2022...still waiting. A claim that was submitted in July is still not paid out in November? !!!!
