FIRST FOR WOMEN INSURANCE FAILED ME!
I write this review severely traumatized and with tears in my eyes as a result of the horrible service I encountered as a result of 1st for Women. I attended a meeting this morning in Nyanga. When the meeting was finished, I went to the car which was locked. My alarm did not want to work, nor did the key want to work. I immediately starting to panic given the fact that I was in a very dangerous area. I immediately went onto the app to make use of the panic button, WHICH DID NOT WORK! I then called myself and during the call, connection was lost. I then opted the call back option. After about 10 minutes, a call centre agent contacted me. I informed her of my distressing situation who said that she will put me through to the relevant department. I requested for towing services but was informed that a locked car cannot be towed but that a technician will be sent out to me. After a few minutes, the initial woman that assisted me returned my call. I informed her that I already was assisted and awaiting my technician. She informed me that technicians do not get sent out but that locksmiths do and this is not covered by them. Immediately I start to panic as more and more people were starting to circle my vehicle. I was then put through to her supervisor who I had to explain my story to again only to be told that she needs authorisation from her manager. Not one of them were worried about my safely. When I expressed how frightened I was I was just told that they will get back to me after getting authorisation from their manager. Till this very hour, she has not gotten back to me. I then ran back inside to the meeting venue, hoping someone was still there. Fortunately my client (who I met for the first time) cancelled all his appointments in order to stay with me and assist. Fortunately, he is also insures with 1st for Women. He made use of the panic button and within seconds ****erally seconds), he was contacted by a call centre agent Thabo. He processed the request for the tow truck to be sent to be. Shortly thereafter, I received a sms that Sithembiso was on my to ensure that I was safe. Whilst I am still grateful for him arriving, this was almost 2 hours later. He was then able to open my door. Thabo constantly called to follow up. What saddens and hurt me was that till this very hour, I have not been contact by the representative who said they will give me an update regarding authorisation. I am sick to my stomach at the thought of what if my client was not there to assist me. I could have either been ******, even ****d or ******ed. Nyanga is considered the ****** capital of the world and my insurance company did not give a damn. My client, a man, got better and faster service than a female from the insurance company called 1st for Women. What is the purpose of guardian angel? What is the point of a panic button? If anything had to have happened to me, it would be as a result of the horrible service received by 1st for Women!
