First for women complaint

Hi there

So here is my story. On Saturday (08/12/2018) night on my way home from work. I was involved in a car accident.

The guy ram into my backside due his breaks not working properly.

When I got out he said he really need to fix his breaks...

I had to contact First for women asking assistance. They told me to go to the police station and log the accident. They did ask if it was needed to send out an ambulance. I told them the ambulance wouldn't be necessary.

Then they asked me all the details and I gave them what they asked for.

Few days later they told me that they won't cover the damage as it is less than my excess...

Now when I took out the insurance it said my excess would be x amount. I couldn't recall that it would be more y amount due to my age being under 25.

Then I told them that the accident wasn't my fault it was the other driver's fault. They transferred me to three people until the last one said that I should contact him to get the money.

So what am I paying for if first they do not assist with the damage on my car and secondly not assisting to contract the other driver to pay for the damage?

I have to fix my car myself and do the claim back myself.

If this is the policy and procedures of first for women - then my email is not directed to the people I dealt with - they are just following the rules. But I am highly unhappy with First for Woman as the insurance company self.

Now I will have to fix my car and have to contact the other driver myself and do my own claim and might as well insure myself with myself as I am the one who has to pay someone else to do something they should have and now I have to do it myself.

It's pointless to be ensured by First For Woman if your claim is not serious enough for them - then you will need to do it on your own.

As soon as I have fixed my own car I will be looking for other insurance companies to cover me. Hopefully they will treat me better.
