First for women - bad service and delay tactics

I had a cell phone and laptop ****** whilst on holiday in bettys bay. phoned First for Women on 09th Feb, only to be told that I cant be assisted due to high call volume as there was a hail storm in Kwazulu Natal. (p.s I stay in cpt). Eventually I decide to call back on 10th Feb (as my first call was not returned) only to be interrogate by the consultant for more than an hour about how the burglary happened. I gave a case number, the name of the detective, his cell no and the police dept number. They eventually tell me to wait 5 days. I then get correspondence to my ****** number (???) and when I called back I was told that they sent me a sms to advise that I need a receipt for my phone (of 5 years old) and for the laptop. Obviously I don't have the receipt so i'm told to get a imei no and itc no to block the phone before they pay out. Laptop contract was sent to them and I still haven't received confirmation of whether i'm going to be paid out or not. Needless to say that the other occupants of the house was with OUTSURANCE AND WERE PAID OUT 3 DAYS AFTER THEY CALLED. So i'm changing to OUTSURANCE ASAP.
