First For Woman - Nighttime Excess

Absolutely ridiculous - First For Woman give me an Excess of R2,600 for my car insurance policy, then state on the contract that if I am in an accident between 11pm and 5am I must pay an additional R2000. The call centre proceeds to tell me that it is because they assume most people are ASLEEP AFTER 11pm and not on the roads. And that I mustn't worry, it is only on the weekends that I am likely to be driving home from a friend, for example. Um hello, that is pretty much half of the week. Who are they trying to fool? I might as well go elsewhere that offers full comprehensive cover, with extra benefits like cash back on Fuel rewards and a tracker installed in my car for free (Discovery Car Insurance).
