First for woman.
I've been with first for woman from 2018, and I've taken a 4 different covers through them, the first 2 years, I was happy and the service was awesome, but there after everything went down hill, I've had so many issues with them, the past 2 claims I've had, the didn't even have someone to assess my washing machine and dish washer, I had to organize a person to do the the damage report, as they had no one in port Elizabeth, I'm paying for this service, yet I need to sort things out, as they don't have anyone in Pe to the evaluation.. I struggled to get someone which caused a delay in my claim twice.. Lately they decided to increase my premium without my consent to R450, without any communication, weathers its email or phone call, I understand annually they increase the rates, but since when is it that much.. They even increased my content cover amount and structural cover amount with out informing me of asking if I'm ok with that..
I've logged a claim for my gate motor, they took a while to get it sorted, and I had to keep following up with them, as oppose to them keep me posted on whats happening, I finally recieved feedback saying my claim is rejected because the amount payed out is lower than my access amount.. They deducted over R4000 which left me with under R2000,so instead of giving that cash, so i can put the difference by to buy the motor, they rather reject the whole claim.
I just feel the service is really terrible, and it's become such a issue to do anything.. To a point where I would prefer leaving and look around for another insurer, they clearly don't value there clients.
