FFW ignoring my emails
I have a warranty insurance with FFW, More than 2 weeks ago I sent them an email asking them for a process to claim when I need my gearbox looked at and they said they don't cover gearbox. I sent them proof that when I took my insurance what did they say they cover including gear boxes. To date they have not contacted me for way forward.

I was given a list of places close to my home to go to by Portia, one of the places being Tiger Wheel n Tyre in Soweto. I went there and they were not providing the service I required. I called FFW and I spoke to Mzwakhe who told me I should have read between the lines that TWT only works with tyres and shouldn't have gone there. I told him his colleagues must provide correct information to clients as I chose a centre close to my home based on the list I was given. He then gave me an address of another place to go to. I went there only to find out that I have to pay a upfront a fee of R650 to check what the problem is as FFW does not pay that. The guy then said he will check and let me know if FFW will cover the problem I had. I did not get assisted as I didn't have the R650. In a nutshell FFW warranty cover is useless. Before I went to TWT I got more than 3 people check if I got assisted after I was sent up and down no one called to check if I was assisted but they keep deducting my money. I want to cancel this policy with immediate effect and will get assistance from somewhere else.

17 Aug 2020, 11:59Feedback again on FFW. At the end of last month I reversed the debit order for FFW Warranty policy since I was not getting any joy from the company. They then called me to check why didn't I pay my premium and I told them I didn't see the need to pay as I had no joy with them. I was then given correct details for Mayfair Gearbox and I took my car there, amazing service from them I must say. They did a diagnosis and sent Innovations which administers FFW Warranty policies a quote and they got told that Innovations will only pay R6000 from the R18000.00 they quoted cause the policy I took covers only R6000. When I took my policy I was told my cover is unlimited and now this. These are two horrible companies and I need this sorted and my car repaired on the unlimited cover FFW promised me.
