Extremely Poor Customer Service
I have been a client of First for Women Insurance for the past 5 years and I have never defaulted on my monthly premiums. During this period, the first time I claimed was due to being involved in an accident twice which was caused by someone else. The first time I was involved in an accident, after paying excess, they managed to fix my car and recovery of my excess was claimed back from the individual who caused the accident. The premium was increased as per norm and monthly payments were done without any hesitation. The second accident happen in October 2015, while I was on my way to work and had to be rushed to hospital. After all relevant information was submitted in order to claim, the car was fixed in approximately 3 months. Due to a delay in getting my excess back, I started making enquiring around Feb/Mar 2016 and I was informed that the consultant working on my case had resigned and not captured all the information on the system hence the delay and had to resubmit the documents previously submitted. I was informed that someone would contact me and provide feedback on the status of my case after they have investigated the matter but to date no one from the company has contacted me to provide feedback. I continuously call for updates, I get sent from pillar to post but no one has answers for me instead promises are made that someone will contact me and provide feedback but it has never happened. It's two and a half years, I still don't have answers no courtesy call regarding the outcome of my case. The last consultant I spoke to last month refused to direct my call to a supervisor and insisted that someone will contact me back and failure to do so, will lead to disciplinary action being taken. The call has not come through to date... due to this poor service, I'm busy looking for a better service provider and I will never recommend this company to anyone!!!!
