Extremely disappointing and unsafe experience

Extremely disappointing and unsafe experience

1st for Women, I am extremely disappointed and honestly questioning the value of having insurance with you after my experience yesterday.

I was stranded at night and called your emergency roadside assistance line multiple times, expecting exactly what the name suggests: emergency assistance. No one answered. Not once. Multiple calls to an emergency line went unanswered when I genuinely needed help.

What is the point of providing an emergency roadside assistance service if customers cannot actually reach anyone when they are stranded and vulnerable?

What makes this even more unacceptable is that I am a woman who was stranded alone at night. I felt extremely unsafe and vulnerable, and the fact that I could not get through to my insurer for assistance made an already frightening situation significantly worse.

1st for Women markets itself as an insurer that understands and prioritises women's safety and needs. Yet when I actually needed assistance in an emergency, I was left without support. That contradiction is incredibly disappointing.

Insurance is supposed to provide reassurance that when something goes wrong, there is someone you can call and rely on. Yesterday, I did not have that reassurance. Instead, I was left wondering what would have happened if I had been in an even more dangerous situation.

I strongly question the reliability of your emergency roadside assistance service. An emergency line that goes unanswered is not an emergency service.

This experience has seriously damaged my trust in 1st for Women. I need to know how you can justify having an emergency assistance number that customers repeatedly call in a genuine emergency, only to receive no answer.

What is the point of paying for insurance if, when you actually need help, you cannot reach anyone?
