Excess suddenly so high

I am writing this complaint just to express my disappointment with FFW. I do not want any response and explanations because I the client will be blamed for not doing so and so. I am powerless to change the situation I am well aware. I pay my premiums every month without fail, I have never defaulted on a payment. I remain loyal, and yet once again when I need the services I pay for from FFW, I am left worse off. Given the current situation with my latest claim, I was not aware of clauses that increased my excess to the point where I end up paying for more than 50% of the repair cost. Apparently the clause is in my policy document, however during previous claims this clause never came up. Everyone please be aware of these clauses that suddenly are in the policy document, they are purposely there to benefit FFW and ***** over their clients. This will be my last interaction with FFW, I am changing insurance companies.
