Excess madness
I am shocked that FFW don't explain their excess to their clients properly or keep clients updated with their premiums.
I got some hail damage on my car and had seen in my policy that my hail damage excess was R4150. After chatting to an agent online, I found out that my monthly premium had actually increased without being notified and my excess is now R4400!
I then decided it was time to change insurance company so I got in contact with an alternate option. I was thankful to get a monthly premium quote from the consultant that is just over R100 cheaper than what I am currently paying. What surprised me is that this insurance company consultant explained my FFW insurance excess better than FFW own consultant! The lady told me that FFW charge you a basic excess of R4800 PLUS my hail damage excess! I almost fell off my chair!
I am EXTREMELY disappointed with First for Women! Not explaining excess correctly and not even sending me an updated policy of my increased premiums! Shocking! I would NEVER recommend them to anyone!
