DOUBLE - STANDARDS
I had an accident on the 29th of September 2019, claimed for the accident on the 2nd of October and on the 11th of October I was told that my car was a write-off.
Now 1st for women has rejected my claim because I was not the regular driver but the secondary driver, to my understanding is that I am covered for the car and I am allowed to drive the car with a valid license. It has taken them the whole month to finalize my claim and their reason for not paying out is because of a regular driver. I advised my reason as to why I am the secondary driver to the vehicle and that the vehicle actually belongs to me and is registered under my name.
I have had 2 window claims on the same vehicle through the call centre not even once was I asked if I am the regular driver of the vehicle and they still went ahead and fixed the windows even though the secondary driver is claiming, so does this mean anyone can claim with your insurance and you guys fix with no questions asked?
Is it fair to reject a car accident claim done by the covered secondary driver but approve window replacements claimed by the same secondary driver?
