DO NOT TAKE OUT THEIR CREDIT SHORTFALL YOU WILL BE LEFT OWING THE BANK

I am extremely disappointed with the way First for Women VAP has handled my credit shortfall claim.

My vehicle was written off, and although the claim has been processed and a certain amount was paid because there are exclusions you will know off at claim stage , I have been left having to deal with the outstanding shortfall while waiting for the matter to be properly resolved. I have repeatedly followed up with the insurer and have been promised feedback, but the responses have either been delayed i was promised lates feedback last week Monday which i did not receive an email. Was sent out by me on friday which was ignored

What is particularly frustrating is having to continuously chase for updates on a matter that has a significant financial impact on me. I am l paying for car i do not have whereas when you take out their shortfall cover you are promised the difference in interest rate including amounts on the principal debt will be covered

I understand that claims can take time to process, but I believe customers should be kept properly informed and given clear, consistent communication throughout the process.

I would appreciate First for Women urgently reviewing my case, providing a clear explanation of how the shortfall was calculated/handled, and giving me a final resolution rather than continuing to receive generic responses about the matter being investigated.

At this point, I am seriously considering escalating the complaint to the relevant Ombudsman if I cannot get a satisfactory resolution.
