DO NOT ASSOCIATE WITH FFW!

I write this review to the utmost disappointment with FFW. I have been a loyal client, never missed a payment and never ever made a reversal.

Yesterday my car stopped moving randomly in the middle of the road, I contacted FFW around 20:45 to be precise and I can’t remember the name of the woman I spoke to, she then took my details and the address of where I was and said they would be sending a guardian angel on call. I waited and waited until 22:20 and called in to find out why nothing has been said and also no car has been sent to assist me as it was said that the car could be there in 30-45 minutes. I spoke to Thandeka Mthembu who said they do not pick up that I made a call and they cannot see who I spoke to around 20:45 when I made the initial call.

Anything could have happened to me and my daughter then, I’m not saying it was FFW’s fault but I’m paying every month for services which are supposed to be of convenience in times of need. I wouldn’t recommend FFW to anyone and will be taking this matter to Hellopeter and the ombudsman, I have contacted the ombudsman and they have stated that I need to log an official complaint with you first and exhaust all internal measures before they can intervene.

One thing FFW will do is send emails as if they care for women and all that has been happening in South Africa especially to women and yet when they need to put their words to action they fail atrociously. I have never been this disappointed at a service I am paying for. Again, this will be taken to the Ombudsman.

I would never recommend 1st for women to anyone especially us women who look for more than just insurance, but for safety.
