Disgruntled Client.

I am absolutely disappointed with the service I received from 1st fpr Women insurance in respect of my Toyota Yaris that was involved in a collision a few weeks ago.

A claim was submitted and the vehice was assessed. The insurer then agreed to settle the claim. The vehicle was the picked up and towed to a panel beater who began working on the vehicle. Ita has been over three weeks since the vehicle was fetched. Upon being informed that the vehicle was taken to a panel beater we emailed one Taslima Kandar who was, apparently, our claims handler. I must say, I take great exception to the manner in which she "handled" my claim. We requested that she provide us with an invoice for the parts that the panel shop were about to put on the vehicle. We received no response. Subsequently, two more emails were sent ro Ms Kangar, and still no reply.

I then gave 1st for women a call yesterday. After being made to hold on for almost 30 minutes, I was given information that I was already aware of. Upon repeating my query for the 4th time, the agent then tells me that they will get back to me by the close of business today.

I have received nothing.

My premiums are quite high for just a toyota yaris. We have been informed by the panel beater that the parts in my vehicle were replace with pirate parts as the vehicle was no longer under warranty! I don't understand how that is any justification.

I would certainly not recommend 1st for women to anyone.

I am still awaiting feedback.
