Disappointment Regarding Policy Cancellation Due to Lack of Support

I hope this message finds you well. I have been a loyal policyholder with First for Women for the past two years and have, until recently, been extremely satisfied with the level of service received. However, I am writing to express my disappointment with a recent experience that ultimately forced me to cancel my policy. On 15 May, while in the process of purchasing a new vehicle, I discovered that the make and model—LDV T60 PRO AUTO 4x4 (2025)—was not listed with your company. I was informed by one of your consultants that this vehicle could not be insured under my existing policy. On that same day, a representative from your team spoke with Mr. Andre Theunissen of Top Speed Motors, the dealership where I purchased the vehicle. She advised him that she would contact me directly. Unfortunately, I never received any follow-up communication from First for Women. Due to this lack of response and assistance, I was left with no choice but to cancel my policy and secure insurance coverage through an alternative provider—King Price, who were able to cover the vehicle without issue. What I find concerning is that no effort was made to retain my business, assist with an alternative solution, or even follow up on the matter. I would appreciate an explanation as to why a competitor could insure this vehicle with no difficulties, while First for Women was unable to offer the same service or support.
