good day ive been with 1st for women for 4 years never skipped 1 month instalmanet, now when it comes to getting a claim out of them you not lucky at all.

January 2017 i put in a claim with my bathroom pipes leaking , phoned insurance company , they sent out leaks dedectors which told us its our baths drain , we not covered for that. i suggested to them im getting my own plumbers to check out the problem which they agreed to.only to our surprise it was my basin valve that was deroded .i knocked open my back wall to get to the bath , i had to knock off my bath tiles to get under the bath but that wasnt the problem. i told them this and i told them it costed me R2500 to get a plumber to fix it they paid me out R1500 because my excess fee was R1600.i told them my mats lounge bathroom and my kitchen cupboards is spoilt. they sent out people to check out the mats which they cleant which i wasnt happy with .I had to get a quote on mats i got paid out R1500 excess again R1600 . i phoned them to ask why am i paying twice on 1 claim and i was told it home and structure contents its different.so up until today im waiting on my pay out on my kitchen cupboards which they sent out contractors for a quote and i told them i want the same guy to fix it who fitted it in the 1st time my own guy so pay me out what your contractors quoted you on.so please give me some advice on what to do because i clearly feel like cancelling my insurance with them because you getting no where with them
