Disappointed Service with 1st for Women insurance
I have been with 1st for women since 2011, recently their service has been very bad. When you have had an accident your insurer should support you until the very end. I had so many hurdles starting from them, to when the 30 Day car hire was over and I had to pay out of my own pocket. I was told its in the policy documents its not their fault that Renew IT Greenstone delayed with parts. I complained to my insurer about the panel beater instead they took their side, it was after I lost my temper the lady said they will investigate and give me feedback, that never happened. I kept on extending the car hire to a point that ai was told its over 60 days I need to come and sign a new contract and I wont get the insurance rate but standard rates. I called the insurance in the morning to ask them to negotiate on my behalf with the car hire as I had already paid just over R10k for car hire on the other side access was waiting for me, Im paying car instalments and insurance premium. I was told by the insurer that they will come back to be within 48 hours the car needed to go back before 12pm I tried to explain that I cant wait that long this case needs to be treated with urgency can they put me through to a manager, I was told she is not available and will get back to me. I called the car hire now I was in tears they managed to assist me. Monday I got a call from the insurer it was too late not the manager but a call centre agent. First for women has really disappointed me that after 13 years of being with them and at the time of need I didn't get any support especially from the Supervisors. They are never available to speak to customers, maybe high & mighty. Worst of all they increased the access on the additional driver without my knowledge, it was only after I looked at document checking the access when I realised that it had changed. One of the agents also **** about their access policy saying that all insurance companies do the same, but when I called one of them getting a quote ( a very reputable one for that matter) they dont. You have lost a customer, it might be a small thing to you but word of mouth is powerful.
