Difficult in Canceling Policy

I have been trying to cancel my insurance with 1st for women but I have difficulties getting through the cancellations department. When I called I was able to get through an agent who confirmed my details and transferred me to the cancellation department. Unfortunately this seems impossible as you would hold on the line for long periods without anyone responding. I do not understand why you are being difficult as I want to cancel my policy ASAP. You service is ridiculous
