Absolutely horrified by the deceit when taking out a policy. My sister was taking out her first insurance policy, both her and I spoke to the consultant Jayden and more than once asked about additional excesses due to her being under 25 as well as the excess for someone else to drive her car. We were both assured by Jayden the additional excess for someone else is R1,000 more. We took out the policy and when we received it saw that the additional excess is R7,500. There were many other additional excesses that we were not informed of at all such as additional R5,000 if the car is ****** and doesnt have a tracker, and addtional R2,500 if the regular driver is under 25. I immediately cancelled the policy, this was outright lying to us and being intentionally *********. That being said the reason for the 2 star is they get an additional star as the person I dealt with to cancel to policy was efficient and apologetic about the incident. All I would say is make double sure you read your policy thoroughly.
