Claiming on First For Women Insurance : worst experience ever

I've been dealing with First for Women Insurance to get my car repaired as a claiming party because someone drove into my car. The service is shocking. I've been emailing the same email for four consecutive days without getting a response or so much as an acknowledgement.

When I called them yesterday the lady on the phone couldn't help me as my files weren't on the system. Then I find out that the insurer has been sitting on my claim not actioning ANYTHING even though they've had the assessment results of the car and all my required documents for a week.

When I email them again and threaten to escalate the matter I receive a one liner email saying they've received my documents, but not answering one single question that I've been asking in my email.

My car is now being towed back to my house. Unfixed. It's been three weeks my car is still not fixed and I don't even know when it will get fixed or when I will receive the money to get it fixed myself.

We only have the one car and two small children, thanks to the incredible inadequate and lacking service of First for Women Insurance I have the added stress to follow up with them every single day to ensure things move forward and I get compensated for the damages.

To be honest First For Women don't even deserve the one star. Don't use this insurance provider and hope no-one who uses them drives into your car. It's a real nightmare.

So the manager calls me and tells me everything will get sorted. Now my car has been returned to me without a front light and the electrics tampered with in such a way that I cannot lock my car. But of course no one checks this or tells me this. They offload the car and are gone. Then the alarm start to go off every 5 minutes. I go outside check the car and to my horror realise that the car isn't locked. And in fact that I cannot lock it. I don't have secure parking so now my car has to stand outside my house, unlocked with anyone being able to access it. Guess what I haven't got anything in writing from said manager, even though he said he would email me, so I can't contact him. The official working hours are of course over after 5pm so I can't reach anyone in the call centre and no one is replying to my emails. This is hell. I'm lost for words. When I thought it couldn't get worse...
