Claim still not attended

I submitted a claim more than a week ago and I was told that people will come to inspect the damage,it's been a week and I am still waiting.I am an elderly person of 74 years and the poor service I keep getting from 1st for women is very poor and calling customer service it's a job and half because one has to be on the phone for 30 minutes just to get assisted.
