Claim not honoured in accordance with policy
I have been struggling with a water damage claim for more than 14 months now. After countless attempts to have it sorted out in the 14 months you decided to send out assessors to determine what the problem is as we where in a difference of opinion. I said it storm water and the assessors said it is not.

The assessor got a contractor out to facilitate to determine what the problem is. Their instructions where remove the kitchen cupboards, expose the inlet pipes and check the drainage pipes. After removing the cupboards and opening the pipes, they determined that there was no fault in the inlet. After checking the outlet pipes they determined that there is a blockage in them.

This blockage has let water flow back(overflow) that have damaged the cupboards and walls over a period of time unknown to me.

Now with no cupboards in the kitchen(removed by you) and damage on the in the walls you rejected this claim saying it is not covered! Now please explain to me as per your policy documents:
Loss or damage caused by:
2. the bursting or overflowing of equipment or pipes (other than what is attached to the geyser or the geyser itself)
