Charging me for a service I thought was cancelled
I am insured with First for Women, and I spoke with a consultant in July last year, to negotiate my premiums down. The consultant reduced them a lot, but in doing so they removed my Altech Netstar subscription. Unbeknownst to me, the service was not cancelled with Netstar.

A few months later (Dec 2014) Altech Netstar started debiting my account for monthly subscriptions, and recouping payments which were apparently not paid for several months. I tried contacting Netstar several times (they did not reply to several emails and I called them countless times and was left on hold and no one was available to speak to me). So I went to my bank and stopped the debit orders, as I had no idea what they were debiting my account for.

In January Netstar contacted me, and then I understood why they were debiting my account. I have no idea who authorised them to debit my account or what agreement I ever had with Netstar. My agreement was with FFW. Despite charging me, Netstar did not even know the licence number or colour of my car!

FFW and Netstar need to get their inter-company procedures worked out. Its disguising that their incompetence leaves customers out of pocket.
