Car claim

Please assist me by advising if it's possible for an accessor at a claims department to calculate an estimated speed limit at a time of an accident. I have been waiting for a feedback for 3 weeks and counting for my insurance after giving all required documents and being told my car is a write off. I get feedback after 2 to 3 days with a request till I was asked to call my tracker and ask for a speed report, when I reported that my tracker doesn't have modifications to show that data, I was told that their senior accessor will take data and calculate the speed. How possible is this? I'm devastated as I have to return my car hire with no solid response
