Can't see clearly now!!!

Really dissapointed in the response from this company. My 2018 Ford Ranger with 20 000 km 4x4 picked up a stone to the windscreen and it was damaged so badly that it need replacement. I lodged a claim and the service was excellent and professional, within 30 min i was contacted by PG Glass , Vin number verified and informed that the widscreen will be ordered. Now the BAD part , PG Glass informed me that the replacement authorised is not shatterpruff as the original window. On enquiry the agent from FFW informed me that they have the prorogavtive to replace the window with any window as long as it is SABS approved and that i will have to get a letter from Ford to state that my warrenty will be compromised if the window is not shatterpruff only then will they authorise the relacement. This is really dissapointing from a company that we always received very good service, to expect me as a client to convince them by obtaining letters from Ford to replace a window on a new , under warrenty, off -road vehicle ,where window damage during off-road driving is a risk, to replace a window with a up to standard original window, when even the glass company adviced against using a non shutterpruff product. Really First For Women if a vehicle is new and under warrenty, at least replace with original parts without your client having to go to the vehicle dealer to get letters to convince you to use original parts.
