Cancellation nightmare

I emailed the First For Women client contact centre to enquire about cancelling my contract and received a response 10 days later requesting that I call the call centre. I then called the call centre today and they told me that their systems were down and when I complained about the service the call centre agent actually put the phone down on me. All I want to do is cancel my car and home insurance because I am moving overseas and selling both my house and car.
