CANCELING THIS INSURANCE SOON

I am so angry at 1st for Women. On 10 August 2023 I got ****** and went to file a report with SAPS. Everything starting from my handbag and the contents inside it (excluding the cash I had inside my purse) amounted to R6, 555 and since I had a handbag insurance with 1st for Women which amounts to R5 500, I made a claim and gave everything they needed. They told me they want receipts of everything I had in my handbag, I told them I don't have any. I bought my hand bag more than two years ago before I even took up this insurance with them, besides I do not keep reciepts (mind you the handbag alone costed me R2, 800). So yesterday 18 August 2023, one of the consultants from the claims departments calls me and tells me that the claim has gone through and I am going to get an amount of R920 because I don't have proof of purchase for the contents I am claiming for. I have never been so angry in my life, I will be canceling this policy I have with them first thing on Monday. I feel like I've been ****med and mislead in the midst of being traumatized by the incident. Who even keeps receipts of everything they purchase? That's just ridiculous.
