Canceling policy
I recently canceled my policy because I had found a cheaper option. The agent tried to convince me not to do so and offered all sorts of perks because I was "a valued customer." Unfortunately, he became a bit pushy and was not happy to just let me cancel and be gone. What I'd like to know is this: why do we have to cancel our policies before you realize we are pensioners, valued customers, etc etc.? Why didn't you just offer me those deals when it was time to renew my policy (which was in May)? Perhaps if you did more to keep your clients, you wouldn't need pushy agents to try to convince those of us who want to leave.
