BREAKDOWN OF TRUST, INCOMPETENCE AND DISAPPOINTMENT

I have never been so disappointed by an insurance company before. I have been with 1st For Women from January this year. I was happy to be joining them. I had my first share of problems recently when my car broke down due to a mechanical fault which they attended to the towing of but I had to fight to be transported home. They have informed me I was in a dangerous neighbourhood - no guardian angel was sent and they were ready to leave me there stranded. Then because my car was still at the dealership due to a mechanical fault, the dealership loaned me a vehicle with an option to insure it myself - again I opted for insurance with first for women on the 15th July 2022 thinking it will be easier because I already had existing cover. I cancelled the additional cover on the 6th day (21/07/2022) and had to reinstate it again on the same day because I ended up having to keep the loaned vehicle further. I cancelled it finally two days on the 23rd July 2022 after that meaning the cover was for 8 days (6 + 2). On the Saturday I cancelled the cover, I requested a telephonic breakdown of the figures I was to be liable for. The first consultant who had assisted me with the cancellation of the 1st cover couldn't explain the breakdown fully and transferred me to retentions because of the direction of the conversation when she gave me the figures which to date I couldn't understand. The consultant from retentions then decided to lie to me to retain me. She increased my excess from R2900 to R3900 to reduce the premium that I was expressing I do not understand how it went up instead of down and she said to me the premium was going down because I was, "lucky" and "the system was offering the discount" only for me to pick up after the call upon perusal of my new documents that my excess had been taken up to R3900 which I was never informed of while on the call with the consultant. Same consultant on the very same call informed me that the only figure I would be paying for the month for the car I had always covered was to be R700 and some change and that was all. I enquired how come because my premium is higher than that for the Triber and she said that is the only figure showing on the system and assured me that it is the only figure I will be liable for. Come the 25th a debit order of R2500+ goes off and then I contacted 1st for Women to enquire and was advised that they were still going to debit for R700+ and thereafter refund me R1500+ and the consultant could not explain to me why the retentions consultant had advised me otherwise, **** to me and changed my excess. Now today I called to follow up on my refund and cancel the existing policy. I was informed that a figure of R1100+ had been set to go back into my account. I enquired on the difference and couldn't be answered. I then asked to be transferred to someone who would cancel the policy not lie to me further - just someone who understands I don't want further dealings with this insurer and I was put on hold for over 7 mins. I am genuinely not happy and very disappointed at 1st for Women and I just want it all to end. All I want is the full refund that is due to me and a cancellation. If it were up to me - I wouldn't stay another day insured by 1st for Women really!!!
