Bad service yet again!

Here I am again 6 months later with bad service from this insurance regarding claims. I'm so close to cancelling with you!

I had an accident in May 2025, submitted a claim recoveries form to recover my excess from the third party, 6 months later and months of follow up emails, I finally find out that the insurance transferred my legal claim to external lawyers and I (the client) must follow up myself with the external lawyer. I received no feedback from my follow-up emails or even a courtesy call to say that they have transferred my claim. Why do I have to keep calling 1st for Women to find out what is happening?

The bad service doesn't stop there, I had a car breakdown last night and requested a tow through the app. I received a call immediately, which was great but the agent gave me and the Tow company wrong instructions, saying that my car needs to go to a dealership and not the assessment center for 1st for Women. I now had to call the insurance to submit a claim and have the Tow department fetch my car from Ford. This process has been a complete nightmare. I have been on the phone all morning with this call center, redirected 5 times only to come back to the same claims department to finally have this issue resolved.

Because I had an accident in this year and was without a car, I opted for the car hire option too, only to find out today that I need to pay and extra R2000 to have the car delivered to me and this includes the hiring/service cost, so tell me, why am I paying an extra R50 a month on my premium?? Is this not supposed to be included without extra cost to me?? Of course this was not discussed with me initially when the agent suggested the car hire plan.

The final cherry on top was when I found out that my excess has gone up by R400, yet I have not received an updated policy schedule reflecting this increase and I was not given the option to reassess my policy either and readjust my excess. The last communication I received from this company was in May 2025, apparently their increase happened in June 2025 but yet no update policy schedule has been sent to this day. I understand annual increases but you need to let the client know and provide up to date documents!!

I AM SO DONE WITH THIS INSURANCE!!
