Bad service

I have an insurance with 1st for women . I was covered for household insurance , laptop, drone and camera .

The drone was accidentally damaged while my son was operating it now they come up with excuses to say they wont cover it .

Why didn't this excusion mentioned to me when i took cover ? I have not even received the policy documents . They send me a letter when i did a follow up . I think this is an excuse for them not to repair the drone . Treating customer fairly they were supposed to disclose everything , what we are covered for and what we are not covered for .
