Amateurs and and Hidden excesses

I moved from discovery (Not cheaper) for the services for my wife but they say you can only judge an insurance company when you claim. I’m not someone who has claimed much from insurance but FFW are definitely amateurs compared to your competition. We had a lightning strike on Sunday I tried to log the claim on the app DID not work. Logged a call Monday only today did they send some “Bakkie Brigade” to collect my TV, 2 Decoders and invertor. The guy tells me they want to asses the damage and maybe repair the goods. Relly repair electronics after Lightning 🤬🤬🤬 To add to this the standard excess is R2450 then they say lightning damage has an extra R1400 excess. I suppose water damage and everything else Carrie’s additional excess…. I can also take my stuff for repairs why would I need insurance at +R4000 per month??? In a fast world we live in 7+ days is crazy…🤬🤬🤬🤬 FFW women is clearly the baby in the big world of insurance but that’s what I get for moving from the majors.. This stinks if someone having ***** agreements with some repair company I don’t insure my goods to get repaired!!!!!!!!
