Almost impossible to cancel FFW insurance

FFW escalated my premium for home (structure + contents) insurance to nearly 3 times what it was 5 years ago. I shopped around and found an equivalent at less than half the cost. I tried to cancel my FFW policy, was kept on hold several times, the consultant tried relentlessly to persuade me to keep the policy. I insisted. He persisted. After 25 minutes I swore (regrettably) out of utter frustration. He would not take no for an answer, was either putting me on hold or keeping on with his sales patter. Eventually he agreed to cancel. This behaviour is against the Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) policy of the FSCA.
