Almost 2 months without a vehicle

I was involved in an accident on the morning of the 2nd of April 2025. My vehicle was then assessed by your team and then sent to Renew It Green Stone Edenvale. I then received the attached letter from Renew It on the 11th of April 2025 stating that parts should take between 2-7 days to be delivered, depending on the availability of the parts however understandably they did reassess my vehicle and picked up further damage.

My frustration is that I receive a call today from Renew It to inform me that they are still waiting for parts to arrive, this is 3 weeks later. I was also informed by Renew It that once they receive the parts the average turn-around time for repairs will be between 10-20 working days

My premiums are always paid on time every month and I was claim free until now. This is the first time I have ever had an accident, and it wasn’t even my fault. And now I am going to be without a vehicle for 2 months. I feel that First for Women is awesome IF you do not claim.

Natasha Antonie from Telesure Investment Holdings has been assisting with my claim however 2 months later and I still don't have my vehicle. The last email from Natasha Antonie which was on the 20th of May to say that she was going to request for the technical specialist to contact me regarding my request for a DEKRA Technical Inspection / AA report on my vehicle before it leaves the panel beaters (Renew IT) and the replacement of my windscreen. I then receive a call on Monday the 26th of May from a gentleman named Dylon Govender who said he that he was from First For Women. I assume he was the technical specialist Natasha Antonie mentioned. He sounded so disinterested in the conversation and even came across as distracted.

First For Women, Renew IT Greenstone and Telesure have made the who experience for me an absolute nightmare for 2 whole months.
This accident wasn't my fault, but I endured all the pain and suffering from my own insurance company.
I am waiting 2 months now for my vehicle to be fixed.
I have to pay an excess of R3 800, again this wasn't my fault.
My insurance premiums will most definitely go up, again this wasn't my fault.

No wonder the other driver didn't have insurance.
