Account debited without my permission

<p>In January I started calling around to get insure quotes for my car as I was leaving my parents insurance. Amoungst other insures I got in contact with FFW and got a telephonic QUOTE from them. They said to complete the quote they needed my banking details but that I don't have to worry about money going off of my account without my permission and before I actually ACCEPT the quote and enter into a binding contract. On the QUOTE that was emailed to me it specifically states "Important: this is only a basic summary of the cover that we can offer you, with estimated premiums that may change. The terms and conditions applicable to your quote are also not included. This is therefore NOT a binding contract."</p> <p>Furthermore in January I contacted the Sales Consultant and informed him that I won't be taking out the policy with FFW. </p> <p> </p> <p>Needless to say the debited R718.20(R330 Intial admin fee and R388.20 Premium) from my account in February and then at the end of Febraury another R388.20 for March Premium, before I noticed that this had happened. </p> <p> </p> <p>Since then I have been incontact with them telephonically and per email numerous time and just never succeed to get anything out of them, nevermind my money back. </p> <p> </p> <p>I have since heard of them doing it to other people as well and feel this is totally UNACCEPTABLE!</p>
