1st for Women refuses to honor a claim

In 2019 April I took an extended warranty with first for women. The cover commenced on the 25 May 2019 according to the contract I signed. According to 1st for women my cover expired on the 10th of April 2021, but they debited my account at the end of April and another debit went off yesterday 31st of May. My car broke down on Saturday the 29th of May 2021. My understanding is that a debit order means cover. when I call 1st for women I am being sent to Innovation Group and I do not have a contract with Innovation Group. My account was debited by 1st for women and I have never claimed a cent under this cover. They are now refusing to honor my claim while they have been debiting my account. I called their customer care and spoke to a consultant (Tshepiso Ramogale) who wanted to transfer me to their accounts department saying they will give me a refund of the premiums instead of honoring the claim. They are only telling me that my cover has expired when I am claiming which means they were going to continue debiting my account.

I still have not received any call regarding this issue, I still want to continue with the cover as this is the first time issue, but this delay also makes it very difficult.

My car broke down on the 29th of May. Today its the 21st of June. There are no repairs that have been done on the vehicle. I am calling innovation group almost everyday. I have spent over a R1000 on airtime trying to get this sorted out sooner. They booked an assessor on 11th of June and I have been calling them last week they said the assessor has 3 working days turn around time. I called them on friday 18th June they told me the were waiting for service records from the dealer VW Vryheid. My issue is that a whole week passed because they were telling me that the assessor has a 3 days turn around time. The money I have spend hiring cars and money spent on airtime is too much. I really need First for Women to deal with this issue as I do not have a contract with Innovation group, but their service is really bad. I have been calling everyday since my car broke down, 3 weeks later no repairs have been done.
