1st For Women is really not for women

So I opted for 1st for Women because I'm a woman, and a single woman at that. Their premiums were reasonable and suited my pocket. At the end of last year, someone drove into my wall and i need to claim. I should have moved from them then when they told me I was underpaying on my premium because my house was worth more and i therefore, could not get what the damage was worth. Had someone come out at the time I started with them, that could have been established but every sales person wants a sale right? So damages to my wall which ran into R20000, was now reduced to just under R10000. I should have left them then...... My recent claim was for damaging rain..... Bare in mind, i'm a single woman..... hense my reason for going with 1st for women, however, this is an old home and belonged to my grandparents and subsequantly, there has hardly been maintenance done on the roof because of work and long hours..... again...... single woman. Be that as it may be..... it rained heavily recently, damaging ceiling boards and my flooring...... because Port Elizabeh is drought stricken, we never get rains as heavy as this, so the chances of raining in like it did is slim to none. I understand what is written in the contract but i also think that it should have been viewed from all angles. I'm disappointed with them and will clearly be getting myself another insurer. Clearly they do not have single women in mind
