1st for women , is really not 1st for any women

My Mom recently fell and ended up in hospital and in the process she damaged her cell phone and laptop, she called 1st for women to submit a claim for the cellphone and laptop , they replaced the cellphone, but they refused to replace the laptop because according to them this specific laptop is prone to wear and tear therefore they will not be replacing the laptop , mind you the laptop worked perfectly fine before my mothers fall and there were no signs of any wear and tear now it does not switch on and doesn’t open properly
