1st for women agents will lie to you

I had a horrible experience with their additional vehicle cover (tyres and rims). I recently was called by them offering me to add my tyres and rims cover to existing policy of scratches and dent. Then I had an unfortunate Tyre puncture and called them to enquire if I can claim. Before doing this, I tried to see on the policy if there was any fine print (T&Cs) I should be aware of. The policy was basically saying nothing, which is a red flag. It is just some silly one/ two pager. The agent on the phone **** to me about the excess I would need to pay and continued to assist me to log the claim. Only for them to come back few days later through a 3rd party ( VAPS operations) saying I should proceed to a Tyger wheels and Tyre and with email saying it need to be within 24hrs for assessment. I wasted my fuel as I was arriving at the Tyre shop they call me back saying oh no we need to look into the claim further. After following up she comes back saying my claim is going to be rejected because I logged it within the first 30days . I am utterly shocked at the lies the agents will tell you and have you hanging around not knowing what the truth is. And absolutely zero accountability from 1st for women nor a mere apology. Just that the agent gave me incorrect info and I must carry on like nothing ever transpired. Why waste my time with the claim in the first place? I don’t think their staff knows what they are doing.
