1st For Woman warranty insurance is a nightmare far from being a guardian angel they claim to be

I’d like to express my extreme disappointment and frustration that I’m being subjected to by the warranty insurance cover that I have with 1st For Women. They are definitely not standing up to the value which they claim to have which is giving women peace of mind and being that guardian angel they claim to be when they are needed the most! They are only affer premiums but zero deliverance. I took a warranty cover with them, been paying my premiums on time and accordingly, when my car unexpectedly broke into gearbox failure I was confident in thinking I have a guardian angel who will take care of all costs as per my policy documents. I reported the claim with them immediately on the date of the incident 19/12/2024 when the car stopped in the middle of nowhere leaving I and my family stranded. Firstly they suggested that I book accommodation which was necessary at the time of event and promised they will exclusively cover the full cost of the two days beyond what is stipulated on the policy document. I confirmed the accommodation to be R3000 to cover for the two days which was going to be coming out of my pocket and a consultant by the name of Josh acknowledged and confirmed that I proceed with the bookings as I was going to be fully reimbursed later after submitting all necessary documentation to my surprise I got reimbursed only R500 from that claim and during the follow ups with the main claim they will always brush off the accommodation issue as a matter that will be resolved but never touch on the matter again on next follow ups. Proceeding with the actual gearbox claim for repairs after a long back and forth and having diagnostic and quotation assessed they came back to say claim is approved only to find out they are approved incorrectly, a quotation that is not from the dealership which will be doing all the labour to fix the car. After explaining the correct quotation including the dealership taking them through the costs included in their quotation this insurance decided to mute my claim. It’s been 4weeks now and everytime I try to follow up I’m lead to different consultants who keeps escalating the matter to some manager whom according to them is reverting back at me with the decision to approve the claim to date my car is stuck at repairs with the dealership and no direction from my insurance. Further I have been stranded without a car since 19th of December 2024 with absolutely no courtesy option from 1st For Women instead they requested that I seek that alternative myself at R2500! Stranded for 4months and that’s all they are putting on the table whereas the delay of approval is on their side. Diagnostic passed all their internal and external assessment now I just have to wait for some manager who does not care to take whatever time it suits him/her to give approval. I had to close my small business due to inability to move around! I and my family has suffered severe financial loss due to daily transport costs we occur daily, I’m unable to drop kids at school for the past months it has been extremely expensive for all our travel costs and 1st For Woman warranty insurance just does not care! I feel disregarded and not valued as their client and my question is that if they can do it to me what will stop them from doing it to the next person!

Another day passing without getting correspondence with regards to my claim from 1st For Women warranty insurance with regards to my claim processing submitted 19/12/2024. All documents submitted accordingly from 17th March 2025 and all assessments for claim went successfull. Since the 27th/03/2025 everyday every consultant tells me one story, they waiting on manager to conclude and I will be contacted within business day of that day to date it’s a daily song no way forward! What a horrible experience 1st For Women! Funny how you make sure premiums go through each and every month deductions from my account 🤮
