Worst Service Ever at the Stanza Bopape (Church Street) Branch

My brother from Australia booked an automatic car some three weeks in advance. When he arrived on 01 January 2023 at 10h00 as agreed, he did the paperwork only to discover that there was no automatic car on site! Our attempt to work out a solution with Ms Vero Masha (the supervisor on site) was unsuccessful. I then called the Branch Manager, Ms Hennelie Van Zyl who said that she would call the office and provide feedback to me. She called the office but never called me back as promised! The star of the day was Mr Mambeda Mmbulungeni who oraganised a car from another branch and delivered the same to us. Getting a rented car comes with a fee for administering e-tolls. In our case, it then transpired that the e-toll tag was not activated. This we only discovered at the Doornpoort toll, when the siren at the toll gate was activated, and my embarrassed brother had to reverse out of the e-tag lane. My brother went back to the office to report this. The office promised to get him another car, but never did. This branch is such an embarrassment to the First Car Rental brand, and the Republic as a whole.
