Worst Rental Car and Management ever

Worst customer service. I am a regular client of first car rental and rent a vehicle at least 2 time a month. The last 2 and a half weeks i rented 5 vehicles and i am appalled by the service that i received and the manner in which i was treated when i complained about it.

I had multiple incidents from the first vehicle i needed to return due to the aircon not working. Secondly my fourth booking was gone after i phoned to confirm the booking and the lady just said yes to get me of the phone but upon arrival there was no booking and they needed to get the manager to assist in getting me a vehicle.

But the last straw was when i arrived at Cape Town international airport and my booking was gone again. The way the manager treated me by telling me that there is no vehicles and if i do not pay in advance the booking is being cancelled. This to a client that has been using their services for over a hear twice a month. Then treating me with such bitter disrespect and telling the cashier to attend to me. And walked away.

I finally got a car and then went to complain to customer services about my experience only to be called by the manager and spoken to in a condescending manner only to be told how the booking system works as if i am a two year old child.

The car that was given was faulty as well to make things even more wonderful.

And the nonsens did not stop there. I received an invoice that was incorrectly billed. After trying to resolve the matter amicably the staff started throwing the phone down in my ears. I then call the head office manager and explained to him my frustration and he just stated that the staff members and managers i mentioned is working at the company for a very long time and he can not believe they acted in such a manner and he included by saying it is not that he think i am lying. WOW what an awesome response.

I then logged a complain that was dismissed with no explanation.

To date my deposit was also not returned that is more then discusting.

I must say after spending about between R6000 and R19000 per month at a rental company and being treated in such a manner, i can only imagine how they treat other people.

I would never ever recommend First Car Rental to any person and will go out of my way to warn people not to use them.
