THE MOST ********* CAR RENTAL COMPANY

This company does not even deserve a rating of 1 star. It also took them close to 3 months to return my deposit. Also, upon notification from the bank that money was charged to my card from Joburg when I reside in PE, I frantically reported the card activity to the bank and my card was blocked. It turned out that First charged a handling fee of R300 to my credit card, without notifying me, and 5 months after I rented the car for a traffic fine. When I queried this with them they shifted the blame to me saying that they did notify me and that they didn't want to incur costs to follow up to see if I received the notification. I never received their so called correspondence and they argued with me that this was not their problem and they are entitled to their money. I am absolutely disgusted with how they handled the situation and that they think it is okay to charge a R300 handling fee over and above the traffic fine when they actually did NOTHING.
