The company stole R8700 from my account . becareful of giving out bamk details.

I made reservations for a Merc C 180 on the 25 April 2017 , I paid R3800 on line , after I paid I was told the car is no longer available and that only a 3 series BMW was available , which I took because I had no choice. I further paid a deposit of R3000 through my debit card , where an employee took all details of the bank card. On my arrival in East London outlet I was ushered to the car by a lady who did inspection on the vehicle and the inspection only covered the body of the vehicle. I must be honest that I signed the inspection sheet with out reading everything on it. I took the vehicle and drove to Mount Frere about 320 km . About 15 km on the gravel road I had tyre problems and I waited at least 6 hours to get help. the help came from Umtata , a gentleman came driving a Honda to give me and changed a wheel on the BMW and drove back the BMW , while I drove the Honda. We noticed that the tyere was smooth and even showing wires on the inner side of the tyere. I then checked the copy of the inspection sheet and found that it shows that all tyers were bridgestone and 7mm which was not the case physically on the vehicle. only front tyeres were bridgestone and not the rear tyeres and no way that the rear tyres were 7mm as they were smooth. this immediately gave an impression that the inspection sheet was just a pen pushing . THE DRIVER FROM CAR RENTAL ALSO CONFIRMED THAT REAR TYRES WERE NOT SAME AS FRONT TYRES AND ALSO THAT THE TREAD WAS SMOOTH. I am charged the money for breakdown services when there was no breakdown service but a driver came driving a honda to give me. I wrote a complaint to car rental of their service. I also pointed out these facts which prove that there was no inspection on the tyres. On the 29th I returned the honda and immediately flew back to Cape Town. Whilst waiting for the response to my complaint I saw two purchases on my card with out my authorisation or even being consulted to the following amounts R4923.13 +R3750.00 I quickly went to the bank thinking someone might have clawened my card , only to find out it was first car rental making these purchases. Despite giving them these explanation they donot want to pay my money back. They are holding on the argument that I signed the inspection sheet. To be honest it is not practical to inspect tyeres of the vehicle unless your attention is drawn to it which was not the case with me.
