I took out a vechile with First Car Rental on the 19 October for 30 days the vechile that I received on the day had a dent which both parties were aware of so as long as we all knew about the dent I did not have a problem using the car 2 days later an Agent called me telling me that they would like to come and exchange the vechile as they wanted to fix that one nothing about fuel was mentioned and when the driver arrived when doing the inspection I specifically asked him about the fuel and he said I won't be charged for it because they were the ones that needed to take the vechile for repairs days passed and the vechile that I had could not open the petrol tank I realized this when wanting to fill fuel at the garage I was going to pour for R200 when the petrol was empty and when the tank couldn't open I decided the safest thing for me to do was drive home I immediately called them to inform them of this issue and because of this I could not go to work I spoke to an agent Viwe to explain the matter to her and she said they will bring me another vechile using a Tow truck which they did still nothing was mentioned that I would have to pay fuel and I specifically asked and was told that I wouldn't be charged now my understanding of the rental deposit is you pay the amount in this case it was R2000 they give you a vechile with a full tank and when the vechile is bought back with no damages and with a full tank I get my full deposit back now after my hiring days were over I took the car back with a full tank and was told my deposit would take 4 days to be sent to me the most shocking thing happened when I got my deposit back the billed me for fuel on both the vechiles that I was told I would not be billed for and the Manager of First Car Rental says to me that there's nothing they can do I won't get my money back and it was very unfortunate that I had these problems during this time with them I don't understand how that can be a solution when they specifically told me that I would not be billed for the fuel on both cars I want my money back First Car Rental are ******** and the Manager is rude I need to have this sorted out please!!!!!
