I rented a small Suzuki from OR Tombo for three days from First Car Rental. Plugged my Garmin Satelite Navigator and the Cigarette Lighter had no power. Well either you get lost, which did happen because I am from the Eastern Cape, or you buy additional data for your phone and try and contend with Jhb with your phone on your lap (can't put it on the seat next to you as it will become a classic smash and grab). Secondly, the typical 'hidden costs like admin fees for topping up with R 46.99 fuel (after I filled the car before delivery, admin fees for e-toll, (over and above the toll charges) are just little things that have left a bad taste.
