Petrol Leak or Profit Machine? Terrible Service.

I hired a car and returned it on the 22nd of January. On returning the vehicle i filled up with petrol at the CT Airport garage. I made a special request to fill the tank to the 'brim' and not just the 'first click' (only 1st click is required) - due to the fact that my company coverers this fuel cost. I then drove approximately 1 km to the 'drop-off' zone. First Car Rental then charge me R116.95/9.1 litres (This may be a small amount but i chose to investigate out of principle). In order for this particular car (small) to use 9.1 litres of pertrol (despite being 'over-filled') it would need to travel more than 140km (roughly/understated) which is impossible. I asked the person in charge of the query/case (Khethiwe Zwane - i am more than happy to share the thread) to furnish me with the Petrol Slip (which i would have accepted & then informed them of the apparent petrol tanks leaking issue - also highly unlikely in a new car). I was then sent a 'homemade' invoice which can be created at the click of a button - i actually thought this was a joke. The above mentioned person also closed the case prematurely (surely you make sure your customer is satisfied before closing).

I still want hard evidence of your 're-fuelling'.

As mentioned above, i am only pushing this out principal as it is blantant theft.

If/when you accept your fault - please dontate the cash to a charity.

Thank you.

Thank you for the opportunity to revert back to you.

I do believe that our customer services department did make contact with you and that this has been resolved.
