Overcharging without notice!

On the 21 on February I rented a car from FCR and returned the car on 25 Feb.

The morning of the 22nd Feb I got to the car and saw that one tyre had gone flat overnight and I had to change it with the spare wheel. Luckely for me I had added a windscreen and tyre damage waiver (R70 p/d) extra to the rental agreemeent!

On the 20th of March I received notification from my bank that FCR have reserved R650 for purchase! Without notifying me and without giving me any warning or reason.

I immediately stopped my credit card at the bank to ensure no more undue charges are made!!

As a response to my query, FCR rep**** thar the ammount was charged for damages! Even though I payed for a tyre damage waiver??

This issue is still un resolved and I feel that it is unfair to simply without warning debit money from a client? Why was this "damages" not taken from the deposit amount if it was an issue? And why am I chraged for damages that I was insured against?

Unhappy client

RA no. **********
